OULRC is the lightweight rowing program at Oxford University in the United Kingdom. The club's aim is to beat Cambridge University in the lightweight boat race each year, which it has done on the last 7 occasions. The club also races in several national and international races besides the Boat Race each year.

We are interested in hearing from anyone who is thinking of coming to Oxford, has rowed before, is under 85kg, and wants to train at the highest level.

Interested in rowing for Oxford in 2009?

OULRC are looking for athletes to compete against Cambridge in 2009. If you're thinking of applying to Oxford or are already a student, you may be interested to know what is involved in trialling, or you can get in touch.

There will be a meeting at 7.15pm on Tuesday of 6th week (27th May) in the Oscar Wilde Room at Magdalen College to give people an idea of what trialling involves and what training they need to do over the summer if they wish to make a competitive bid for a seat in next year’s boats. If you are unable to make this meeting, please get in touch anyway.
