Nephthys Development Squad wins at 2012 Kingston Regatta

In an exciting finale, the Nephthys IM3 8+ beat Wolfson College, Oxford by a canvas in a respectable time of 2:56. In the preceding race, the same boat won against the Hampton School BC 8+ (3/4 Length verdict). Congratulations to the winning dev squad crew!

Kingston Regatta traditionally marks the end of the OULRC Development Squad and allows our potential trialists to gain some valuable side-by-side racing experience - and to collect some shiny pots and British Rowing points.

The club would like to thank all dev squad members for their time and effort, and the coaching team (Bodo Schulenburg, Ben Reed, Richard Watson, Victoria Stulgis, Jack Carlson, Chris Gamble, Paul Crewe) and all current OUL squad members for making this possible. Many thanks also to all old boys who came down to the Regatta Enclosure in their Blue Boat and Nephthys blazers to support our crews.
