OULRC rows on the river Thames at Wallingford, which provides excellent water conditions nearly all year round on a beautiful stretch, the longest on the river, which runs for around 10km between the locks at Benford and Cleeve. We are very lucky to share the brand new, world class, Fleming Boat House with OUBC, where we have our own club room and rack our race boat through the winter in the heated dry boat house.
Our fleet consists of Empacher VIIIs, including ex-national lightweight boats the oldest of which dates from 2005 and all in excellent condition, as well as assorted small boat.
We makes use of the OUBC gym at the Oxford University Sports Centre on Iffley Road, which contains extensive weightlifting equipment, ergs and a rowing tank. The Club also owns it's own set of 10 rowing machines which are housed in the Teddy Hall Boathouse.
